2021 sIGN lANGUAGE sKILLS tRAINING
Deaf culture is at the heart of Deaf communities everywhere in the world. Each Deaf community is a cultural group which shares a sign language and a common heritage.
During the June holidays, our staff educated the students in the centre with the basic sign language skillset as part of our character building programme. Sign Language also promotes awareness and sensitivity to the deaf and hard of hearing community as well to enable children to understand and develop empathy for people with hearing disability.

2021 mOTHER'S dAY & fATHER'S DAY
Beautiful Hand Made Cards by our students.
They presented the cards to their parents on Mother's Day and Father's Day. Our teachers have taught the students on the importance of honouring their parents during these activities.
Parents had feedback that they were very touched by heart-felt messages written by their children.

2021 JUNE HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES
Hooray! The June school holidays have finally arrived and we believed that our children were looking forward to the much-needed break from home-based learning during Phase 2 (Heightened Alert).

2021 cHINESE nEW yEAR acTIVITIES
The 'Chinese New Year Culture' was introduced in the month of February 2021 as part of the children's classroom learning.
These lessons were fun and engaging as the children learnt the names of the various goodies through tasting some of the goodies which they had not eaten before.
The children also had to solve puzzles and quizzes in the game sessions- they had to identify and select the correct vocabulary/ words which would form some Chinese New Year greetings.

2021 March Holidays ACTIVTIES
The School Holidays is the time for our students to rejuvenate!
The activities conducted during the 2021 March Holidays allowed our children to have lots of fun through learning.
The activities were:
· Cookery session
· Lower Primary Learning Journey to the Supermarket
· Science Experiment Lessons
· Craft –“Exploration with Colours”
In AGPC-SCC, we hope to help every child unleash their potential.
These activities boosted their creativity, fostered healthy eating habits as well as helped to build meaningful friendships among themselves.
Having hands-on activities are also especially important in the classroom because it allows students engage in kinesthetic learning.
It allows children to experiment via trial and error, learn from their mistakes and understand the potential differences/ gaps between theory and practice.
